How does Ohla work?
From the home page click on the “Start a Visit” button, or open the Ohla widget on the bottom right of your screen. From here select the service you’re looking for, and complete our quick survey so we can gather the required information to complete your visit.
Your responses are reviewed by a licensed medical provider assigned to you. In some cases, a follow up via call, text, or video chat may be required. If that is the case you’ll be reached to by the physician rendering your care.
If your consult results in a prescription, the prescription will be sent to your preferred pharmacy.
Review times can vary depending on the service you need, but we strive to review all submissions within 24 business hours (and and in most cases much quicker than that!)
All visits are performed by licensed medical professionals who review your responses and create the most appropriate treatment plans based on the information provided. Prescription medications will not always be the most appropriate treatment option, and this will be determined at the discretion of the physician.
We ask for your picture in order to stay compliant with state regulations.
Ohla is HIPAA compliant, following strict guidelines to ensure your information is safe and handled appropriately. Additionally our team deploys additional layers of security to ensure your information is safe in our environment.
Most visits can be completed asynchronously, but in order to stay compliant with some state regulations, some visits will also require a phone call.
All Ohla consults are performed by board certified medical professionals, Ohla services are safe and reliable and must be treated with the same level of diligence you would use when providing information.
Medical professionals on the Ohla service only prescribe FDA-approved medications that are safe for you based on the information you provide.
Is Ohla Right for Me?
Ohla is available domestically in the United States in all 50 states.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Ohla.
Ohla services are not intended to address medical emergencies. If you’re experiencing a medical emergency, you should call 911, seek an urgent care facility, hospital, or your in-person provider.
Ohla Pricing and Support
The virtual visit fee is $30. This fee does not include the cost of your medicine which is paid directly to your local pharmacy.
Ohla fees include the virtual visit.
Medication payments are separate are made directly to your local pharmacy. You can use cash or your insurance when paying with your local pharmacy. If you’re paying with insurance, confirm with your insurance provider if the medicines we prescribe are covered.
We do not accept insurance today for our $30 visit fee.
If you cancel prior to the visit completion, email hello@getohla.com and we will cancel your order and refund your payment. Your visit fee is nonrefundable once the visit has been completed.
